Starting over can be a challenge!

After Spending an AMAZING 2 weeks tripping around down south, I only managed to get 1 training session in during that time. Yesterday training was THE LAST thing I felt like doing, but I needed to moved my body and rebuild some routine. It wasn't an amazing session, I found it hard to focus, I was tired and EVERYTHING felt heavy. But afterwards I felt more like myself.

If you get these same feelings after having time off training, the below article could help you!

Finding Your Groove After Time Off? Start Here!

We’ve all been there, a few weeks off training (whether it’s life, injury, illness, or just needing a break), and suddenly the barbell feels heavier, motivation is low, and your routine’s out the window.

Here’s the truth: you haven’t lost your strength, you’ve just paused your momentum.

That first session back might feel a bit off. Your lifts might be lighter. Your muscles might be louder. But none of that means you’re not strong. It just means you’re human.

Here are 3 ways to ease back in and feel like yourself again:

1. Start small.

Don’t try to play catch-up. Drop the weights a little, keep the volume low, and focus on quality reps. The strength will come back faster than you think, especially when you give your body time to find rhythm again.

2. Lock in your 3 non-negotiables:

Sleep: Your recovery MVP

Hydration: You’ll feel the difference in your energy and lifts

Protein: Essential to rebuild what you’re working for

3. Focus on showing up.

Set a goal to train 2-3 times this week. Nail your warm-ups. Move. Breathe. Stack wins. Each session is a reminder: you’re still in this.

You don’t need to be at your peak to return, you just need to show up. One session is often all it takes to reconnect with your “why.”

If this is you right now, I see you. You're not behind, you're rebuilding, and that’s where the magic is!
